I cannot live without art, and I try to find beauty in any place at any scale, either in natural or urban setting.
I designed the renovation of "Casa d'Artista" trying to make it a simple yet comfortable and elegant dwelling, to relax while being absorbed by Rome intoxicating beauty: a statement of a spiritual and meditative lifestyle, guided by mindfulness, simplicity and aesthetics.
The apartement is structured by grids, imaginary in the floor plan layout and visible in elevations—from the glass blocks and custom furniture to the tilework in the kitchen and bathrooms.
"Casa d'Artista" is located about 0.5 kilometers from the entrance to the Vatican Museum, featuring expansive north-east views. The brightness and connection with the outside extends beyond its location become a cultural statement of connectedness between dwelling and the city—with its urban history, art and architecture.
