Surfaces, both open and closed, are usually two-sided. One sided surfaces, such as the Moebius strip, are the most popular forms from topology, the branch of geometry which studies the properties that are preserved through deformations, twistings, and stretchings of geometric objects.
The one-sided shapes in this section are generated through algorithms following the same syntactic transformation rules of the Moebius strip.
